Hundreds of thousands of spores are loaded into our mushroom spore syringes. You’ll see clumps of groups of tens of thousands of spores in spore groups. As so many spore vendors sell inexpensive, transparent syringes with hardly any spores in them, this is unusual in this industry. In order to see through the eyes, a single spore is too small and 600X magnification is to see an individual spore. 1000X will be the best. That’s a cluster of thousands of spores for every black dot you can see. Apart from the black clumps, more are dispersed through the solution.

Take a gamble and buy spore syringes with hardly any spores in them and risk wasting time, money and lots of work just to save a few dollars, or spend a little extra and, to start with, buy good quality.

The mexicana varieties, semilanceatas, panaeolus, and PE cubensis are several small capped or light spore dropping varieties.

To help conserve the spores and prolong their life, we use our proprietary solution. For several months or even years without complications, spore syringes may be kept at room temperature. Sealing them and storing them in the refrigerator is better for long-term storage, as they will last this way for many years. For all our spores, we give a 60 day guarantee.

Before we spend all the effort and money producing spore syringes, all our batches are carefully under a microscope for bacteria and mold, so it’s not a waste of time or money for you or us.

We use a BD 10CC syringe of high quality, normally loaded with 11ccs. BD’s can be in several times over and in usage again. They come with a needle measuring 1.5′ 16 gauge.
